Live, from Peoria, Illinois, it’s Saturday Night Take-Out starring this week’s host, Ming Shee.

Now please welcome one of Peoria’s oldest and most classic Chinese restaurants and this week’s host, Ming Shee!

2. frontdoor_4-5-21.jpg

Here we are at Ming Shee, a classic Peoria restaurant. They’ve been in operation in this location for over three decades.

Last year when we came here the pick-up spot was in this side entrance, but it appears things have changed. So it’s to the front door we go!

Okay, here we are at the front door, let’s go inside and see what’s happening.

4. windowbell_4-5-21.jpg

They’ve turned the front door into a pick-up window. It says to push the bell for service and so that’s exactly what I did.

5. condimenttable_4-5-21.jpg

The woman behind the window was a little shy and didn’t want her picture taken.

But check out this table that features all the condiments and forks that you want for your meal. I love it!

6. menus_4-5-21.jpeg

There’s also take-out menus for future visits. Nice!

7. ready_4-5-21.jpeg

She brought the order to the window, I paid up and left a nice tip and then…

Whoomp, here we are back at MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and Tasting Area.

As always, we’ll start this Saturday meal with a giganzo can of Budweiser. Cheers!

There’s our meal and the pile of soy sauce and hot mustard packets I grabbed from the condiments table.

You can never have enough of these!

10. wontonseroll_4-5-21.jpg

To start the meal off I got a small order of fried Won Tons and an Egg Roll.

11. erwt_4-5-21.jpg

I put some hot mustard on the egg roll and it was a crispy and delicious treat!

The fried won tons had their own sweet dipping sauce and they were filled with a rich crab mixture and were very tasty.

We’re off to a wonderful start here!

Ming Shee is the only Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to that has Buffalo Wings on the menu. I got them last time and I was surprised how good they were.

I thought I’d get them again to see if last time was a fluke or if they’re always as delicious as I remembered them.

13. great_4-5-21.jpg

Well, this visit proves that it’s no fluke, Ming Shee has some of the best Buffalo Wings in town! If you’re a fan of Buffalo Wings, you should check these out!

14. hksteak_4-5-21.jpeg

For the main course, I got an order of the Hong Kong steak. this is a new item on the menu and it looks fabulous!

15. rice_4-5-21.jpg

It comes with white rice and I seasoned the rice with some of the soy sauce and hot mustard.

16. hksteak_4-5-21.jpeg

Here’s the dish all plated and ready to sample!

17. delicious_4-5-21.jpg

Wow, this was so tasty and delicious!

The steak is tender and juicy and there’s also mushrooms, onions and green peppers in the dish and this is a such a flavorful treat!

The fortune cookie delivered a positive promise. I do have some plans for this year and hopefully this fortune will ring true!

Thanks to everyone at Ming Shee for a delicious Saturday night take-out meal!
