Here we are at Theo’s Ice Cream Shop, one of the few drive-up ice cream shops in Peoria that’s open all year-round.
There’s the menu, some specials and I’ve decided to try the Keira sandwich.
This is their signature specialty pork chop sandwich. It’s a large grilled pork chop topped with pulled pork, bacon and barbecue sauce. That sounds unique and tasty!
Let’s go up to the window and place our order for this week’s Saturday meal.

Wow, that’s one big pork chop and the pulled pork and bacon look fantastic.
This is one satisfying sandwich. The pork chop is tender and juicy and the pulled pork and bacon add a savory mix of flavors. The barbecue sauce is tangy and the bun is bakery fresh.

A Turtle Delight Sundae!
This is vanilla ice cream with nuts, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate. It was rich and delicious and we’ve gone full circle from a sweet start to an even sweeter ending!
