There’s more choices on the menu other than burgers and when we were doing the 13 month chicken tour, I discovered that they have an excellent grilled chicken sandwich.

The spotlight sandwich this week is Ludy’s grilled chicken sandwich, so Sherman, let’s set the Wayback Machine for June 26, 2018 and get the cluck over there!

Here we are at Ludy’s Kickapoo Creek Saloon, let’s go inside and check out this fowl sandwich!

As you can see from the menu, you can build your own chicken sandwich and I went with the grilled chicken topped with American and Hot Pepper Cheese and Bacon.

How can you not add bacon to a chicken sandwich, we all know that bacon makes everything better!

And just like magic, here’s Sam serving up the Ludy’s Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a smile!

It’s a big sandwich and it looks delicious!

As you can see, they don’t skimp on the bacon or cheese and when you lift the top bun, it’s hard to see the grilled chicken. But when you bit in, you definitely can taste it. The chicken is juicy and plump and the two cheeses and crispy smoky bacon compliment it perfectly. And the bun is toasted and bakery fresh.

If you’ve been to Ludy’s, you’ve probably had the cheeseburger, so on the next stop there, try the grilled chicken sandwich. It’s not as famous as the cheeseburger, but it’s just as tasty and a wonderful sandwich.
