I’ve done a year-long pizza tour on MBIP, but surprisingly, this week’s Pizza of Peoria, isn’t from that tour. You see, I’ve also done a seven month steak-eating tour and that’s where this week’s featured pizza is taken from.

While doing this meaty tour, I discovered Monical’s Pizza has a steak pizza on the menu, so I figured this would be a fun excuse to sneak a pizza pie into the beefy steak tour.

Whoomp, here we are at Moncical’s Pizza in those wonderful pre-pandemic times!

Back then if I would’ve worn a mask inside, they’d have thought I was going to rob them!

There was not one, but two lovely women at the host podium and they led me to my table which is situated right here.

i scanned the menu and found the ingredient that brought me here: Steak!

I ordered my steak pizza along with some items to start off the meal and then…

I went and admired the tree in the middle of the restaurant. It had stuffed toys living inside of it and I loved it.

Sadly, it’s no longer there. Another reminder of 2020, folks. Womp, womp, womp.

To start the meal off I had a salad, topped with their homemade tart and sweet salad dressing and an appetizer of Pepperollies.

The salad dressing was tasty and and the Pepperollies are a delicious, unique and savory appetizer that you can only find at Monical’s Pizza.

And now, it’s pizza pie time!

Here’s this week’s Pizza of Peoria: Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the steak pizza at Monical’s Pizza!

I love Monicals pizza, the crust is always thin and very crispy!

One trick to eating Monical’s Pizza is to drizzle it with the homemade salad dressing! It’s a perfect pizza condiment!

This pizza was loaded with cheese and the the thinly sliced steak was a tasty topping. I’ve never had a steak pizza before and this was a delicious pizza pie!
