When I stopped by Anne’s Anteex the other week, I noticed Popcorn Heaven next door.
They moved here about a year ago and I’ve been meaning to stop by to their new location here on West Lake Street. Well today is that day, so let’s get over to Popcorn Heaven and see the new location and store!
Here we are at the new location of Popcorn Heaven on West Lake Street. Wow, this place looks huge!
And it is giganzo inside!
This place is like ten times the size of the original store!
There’s owner Greg behind the counter, but he’s busy with customers, so let’s take a look around the place till it settles down over there.
This store certainly shows growth for Popcorn Heaven!
And they live up to their name, if you like popcorn, they’ve got all kinds of flavors for you and it’s packed up in a multitude of ways!
There’s even popcorn seeds if you want to cook your own at home!
They have a variety of gift packs which are great presents for the upcoming holiday season.
The menu on the wall is spook-tactularly decked out for Halloween! There’s also paper menus that you can take home.
As you can see, the popcorn selection and flavors here are like no where else in Peoria!
In addition to the many flavors of popcorn, they also have gifts and sweet treats including fresh caramel apples. Those look so good!
Here’s some awards the store has won and a caricature of the owners, Greg and JoAnn Young. They’re really nice people and we’ll be seeing them soon.
There’s another Halloween decoration over there and there’s a table for popcorn eating in the store for your young ones.
Okay, the crowd is clearing from the counter…time to go up…

They told me that they’re now in their fifth year of business, which is hard to believe! It seems like only yesterday when I first stopped in to their shop when they were located off of Sterling Avenue. As I always like to say, fun flies when you’re having time!
