The Marty Monologues Weekend Countdown! Friday - Two Days To Go!

by MBIP

Well, we’re getting close to the Marty Monologues show this Sunday at the Apollo Theatre here in Peoria! I thought I’d have a little countdown here at the MBIP blog and here we go!

The Marty Monologues Dress Rehearsal

Last night we had the dress rehearsal at Sarah and Brandon’s house. Amber and Joe came over to my place and then we zoomed over to Sarah and Brandon’s abode to perform the dress rehearsal.

Amber took the MBIP Camera and documented the evening with some photos from the dress rehearsal.

There’s Sarah Marie Dillard (from Sarah & The Underground) performing the opening song for the show.

The song is “It Don’t Come Easy,” by Ringo Starr and she did an amazing cover of it!

Then I went up and did the introduction and the first story. This show is about my three adventures I had while experiencing “15 minutes of fame” in my life.

There’s Joe and Sarah enjoying the show!

Here’s some photos of the last two stories and me bringing Sarah back for…

The closing song, which is “Act Naturally” by The Beatles. Sarah put her own spin on this arrangement and it’s a fun and entertaining take on this old Beatles tune!

Both Brandon Mooberry and DJ juanGoblin were missing in action due to other commitments, but they will both be at the show this Sunday evening!

Tomorrow I’ll be picking up the tickets at the sponsor locations in the afternoon, so if you haven’t gotten tickets you should stop by today or this evening to these fine locations and pick them up!

Tickets are two for $25 and one for fifteen bucks. They include the show and the after-party at Kenny’s Westside Pub with FREE flatbread pizza!
