Interviews From The Past: E. Jean Carroll (1996)

by MBIP

This is kind of a quickity blickity thing today because I overslept and have a bunch of stuff to do this afternoon. I’ve always liked E. Jean Carroll’s writing and her personality. Her “Ask E. Jean” turned into a TV show in the ‘90’s on the short-lived “America’s Talking” network and I always enjoyed watching that. She’s also written for Esquire, Playboy and Saturday Night Live in addition to writing several books. So I was thrilled after having sent her a copy of fishwrap to get a nice phone message from her and you can listen to that by clicking right here: Interviews From The Past: E.Jean Carroll.

Coming up this week on MBIP, I stopped in to Lucky’s Modern Dive Bar and in addition to great food, drink and hospitality, I met and got photos of a Peoria teen who’s got a shot on American Idol. Tuesday will spotlight our 8th week of our twelve week chicken wing tour and then I have no idea what’s going to happen for the rest of the week! I need to figure that out, so I’m going to run. Have a wonderful and funderful Sunday and we’ll see you all tomorrow!

I know a girl from a lonely street,
Cold as ice cream but still as sweet,
Dry your eyes Sunday girl.
