Sunday Snapshot (Plus MBIP Coming Attractions)

by MBIP

Last week’s Sunday Snapshot was of Laurie Dean who is the new owner of Lou’s Drive-In. This week, I thought we’d feature another iconic Peoria summer drive-up eatery, Emo’s Ice Cream Parlor.

I went there last night and you can read about it tomorrow on the Saturday Night post. Today’s snapshot is of the somewhat creepy clown who’s nose blinks on and off from the top of the building that houses Emo’s. And here he is!

Okay, now it’s time to ask Mr. Clown the same stupid-ass questions we ask every stinking Sunday!

What’s your favorite Sunday dinner?
Little children.

Name your favorite Sunday night TV show, past or present...or both?
Gacy, of course!

What time do you get up on Sunday?
I don’t sleep, I’m always on guard here at the top of the roof.

What’s a perfect Sunday afternoon or evening for you?
Eating little children and watching Gacy. I love that guy!

Well, thanks for creeping us out, Mr. Clown, you did not disappoint! Tune in tomorrow to find out what I had for dinner at Emo’s and then Tuesday find out where I went for the 9th week of our 12 week chicken wing tour. Wednesday will feature my friend Lisa who I hadn’t seen for over 22 years and we had lunch at Jonah’s Seafood House and Oyster Bar. Thursday is going to be painting at Jimmy’s bar and Friday, will be a celebration of MBIP Pal, Contributing Writer and Wheelman, Scott Turley, (unless I get called in to work again!) stay tuned for all of that and have a great Sunday! We’ll see you all tomorrow!

Clowntime is over, time to take cover,
While others just talk and talk,
Somebody's watching where the others don't walk,
Clowntime is over.

Surprise link, click on it...I dare you!
