Last September we went to a bar in Junction City called, Tavern On Prospect. It was a dark and friendly bar and I thought we’d make a return visit there tonight. And so it’s off we go!

It's a little drizzly out here and I had to work later than usual, so I hope the bar is still open. Time will tell and hopefully, just like the Rolling Stones, it will be on our side!

Here we are and it's all lit up, so I'm guessing there's still time to have a couple of beers in here.

I love all the neon in the windows here.

Let's go in and see what's shaking at Tavern On Prospect on this Thursday evening.

Just as I was going in, a party of about twelve were leaving and right now I've got the entire bar to myself, nice!

And as I settle in, I see a familiar face behind the bar...

It's April, the pretty and super-friendly bartender who served us the last time we were here! It was great to see her and we had a nice conversation at the bar. A good bartender can really make you feel at home and April certainly has that quality.

Ceiling fans and lights hang overhead the bar just under the tin ceiling in here.

A beer and cocktail list hang on the wall over here at the end of the bar.

Here's the beers available on tap and they come in 16 ounce mugs.

And here's two of those taps right here at the bar.

And just like Al Kooper, this Guinness tap stands alone.

Candlelit tables line the wall opposite the bar.

Menus stand at attention on the tables illuminated by the candle light.
