Okay, today is going to be a bit of a quickety, blickety blog. I have a ton of stuff to do, my allergies are killing me and have to go to work a little early due to a meeting, so I’m off to find an award to bring to the No Wake Zone on Sunday. I had to wait till the last minute, because I didn’t know who was going to win the Hot Dog Wars till last Sunday. So it’s off to Joan’s Trophy & Plaque Company we go. Sniffling and sneezing all the way. Ugh.
Here we are at Joan's Trophy and Plaque Company. They've been locally owned since 1970 and I've never been inside of their business. All that changes now!
Wouldn't it be cool if Joan Jett was the "Joan" behind this company and she was behind the counter singing...

In the end I decided on getting a plaque that I'd custom make.
Here's Crystal who helped me through the process, everybody here is very friendly and helpful. You can see the award next Tuesday when I post pictures up of the Hot Dog Wars party that happens Sunday at No Wake Zone starting at 3PM. Okay, I have to go blow my nose and try and get some rest before work. Tomorrow's blog will have a little more meat to it as it has a tamale featured in it!
