Okay tonight we travel to The Tartan Inn to see MBIP pal and local bartender, artist and musician, Gavra Lynn, who’s playing there tonight. Gavra’s really a talented musician and I’m looking forward to seeing her and listening to her musical stylings tonight. So I’m going to quit writing this goddamned introduction and get the fuck over there! To the MBIIP mobile!
Off we go into the heat of the night...actually there's no heat out here tonight at all, it's freezing out here. It's colder than a scorned Martha Stewart.
Wow, check out the Christmas lights and decorations in front of this house. They went all Clark Griswold on this place!
Here we are at the Tartan Inn, this shot is a little dark, but fuck it, I'm freezing my balls off out here, let's get inside and warm up!
Wow, there's a big crowd here to see Gavra, and I see a familiar face at the bar...
It's Joanne, who we last saw at the one year MBIP anniversary party. Great to see her again, all decked out in her holiday gear!
Here's one of the owners of The Tartan Inn, Brad serving up an ice cold bottle of Budweiser. We met Brad the last time we were in here back in June.
Speaking of Brads, here's Bad Brad, sprawled out at the bar on the stools next to me. Make yourself at home, Bad Brad!
Check out the green glowing bottles behind the bar. Are they filled with nuclear booze? A couple shots from those things and you'll be nuclear wasted!
Specials for the night and a little Charlie Brown Christmas Tree in the lower left corner.
There's Christmas presents and knick-knacks strewn over the bar.
Wooden oval tables and chairs line the outer wall, opposite the bar.
Stockings are hung overhead, but they need to start filling them up!
We met Jenny the last time we were here too. She was working here then, but she's not working here anymore, she was just in as a customer. She did however jump back behind the bar to pour a couple of shots for us! You gotta love that smile!

I've turned the flash off so I won't bug her as she performs, so the photo's are going to be a little grainy, but I kind of like them like this. Here's Gavra performing the song, "Juanita" by the Flying Burrito Brothers which is one of my favorite songs and Gavra does a great version of it.
Check it out, Bad Brad hasn't moved since he's plopped down in here. I'm wondering if someone put a Quaalude in his beer!
Okay, I flipped the flash back on to get a shot of Gavra who's joined onstage by Roger on bass and Santa hat.
In addition to cover songs, Gavra has plenty of her own original material and they're great songs!
Even The Beatles have paused for the cause, so you know she's putting on a wonderful show up there!
