This is my second Thanksgiving since I moved back to Peoria. Last year we celebrated at my sister Terry’s house and that’s where we’re going tonight. But first, two beers at Jerry’s Bar!

There's a couple of familiar faces down there at the end of Jerry's Bar...
It's Anne and Jerry, the host and hostess of this fine establishment!
Beer number one is served up by Anne, who can't seem to keep her eyes open for the pictures here.

Fast forward to an hour later and I'm at my sister Terry's house getting ready to assemble an award-winning snack tray on top of her piano bench.
And here's the snack items I've assembled for this tray of holiday snackage. I've got two kinds of crackers, cheese slices, two kinds of cheese dip, hard salami slices and and Hershey's Kisses with caramel.
And here's the tray, all assembled. Most of you who have been following my blogs for the last couple of years know that I'm a board-certified snackologist, but for those of you who aren't aware of this, please don't try to attempt something like this on your own. You'll only hurt yourself and shame will be dealt out like so much summer wheat.

My snack tray has been put in place and it's a popular addition to the holiday festivities.

Bonus Photo of The BBC and ABC in the Land Down Under!
Yesterday I asked for a group shot of (two thirds) of the BBC (Baltimore Bar Crawlers) with the ABC (Australian Bar Crawlers) and here they are! From left: Smoopy, Gene, Clacky and Shannon. Rumor has it that they had 7,977 drinks between them at this bar. Now I'm wondering when we're going to get a shot of them at the legendary Bunt Custer's bar? Time will tell!
