Live, from East Peoria, it’s Saturday Night Cheeseburger with this week’s host, Logan’s Roadhouse and featuring the Ready For Prime Beef Player, Marty Wombacher. And now, over the river and through the woods, please welcome this week’s host, all the way from East Peoria, Logan’s Roadhouse!
And we're off on yet another Saturday night destined for a cheeseburgerly meal. The MBIP mobile is headed towards East Peoria.
Here we are going over the Bob Michel Bridge to East Peoria. For some reason I never get freaked out driving over this bridge. Maybe it's because it doesn't look like a bridge and you really don't see the river as you drive over it.
There's Logan's Roadhouse up ahead.
I noticed this place when we went to Granite City the other week. I know that this is a chain, but I'm running out of late night cheeseburger places to go to, so we'll make an exception here since this is the only Logan's Roadhouse in the area.
As you can see, it's a big place.
Let's go in and start this week's edition of Saturday Night Cheeseburger.
How's this for a nice greeting! As you can see, it's a friendly place in here, this is going to be a good night!
There's sturdy, wooden booths in the dining area over here to the right of the restaurant. But what I'm looking for is...
The bar! It's located smack-dab in the middle of the place and check it out, all the seats are empty, we've got the run of the place, let's go get settled in.
Meghan, the pretty and friendly bartender on duty serves up an ice cold bottle of Budweiser.

As you can see from this cooler at the end of the bar, they have a decent selection of bottled beers available here.
There's eight selection of beers on tap, here's four...
And here's the other four. Nothing too exotic, but a decent little selection.
There's more booths off to the left side of the bar.
There's dining tables up in the front of the restaurant.
This table mesmerized me in its circular wonderment. The silverware is placed perfectly and for some reason it was hard to walk away from it. I stared at it for about four minutes.

Meanwhile, back at the bar...
The table is set and the cheeseburger should be landing any second now!
And baboom! There it is! I got the fried cheese and bacon burger with homemade potato chips and it looks fantastic.
That thing that looks like a big onion ring on top, is a slice of fried cheese! Something I've never had on top of a burger.
The mustard and pepper have been liberally applied, time to take a bit out of this week's burger.
It's a good thing I've got a big mouth, this is one massive looking cheeseburger!
Wow, this is a great cheeseburger, the fried cheese was really a nice touch. I had another beer for dessert and called it a night. We'll see you all tomorrow.
My Cheeseburger
There’s five selections of cheeseburgers offered up on the Logan’s Roadhouse menu. I chose the Fried Cheese and Bacon burger which is topped with thick-cut smoked bacon, lettuce pickles, onion, their specialty “Amazin’ Sauce,” and most importantly, a big thick slab of fried cheese. This heart attack on a bun was really tasty and the cheese oozing out of it was reminiscent of one of my favorite New York burgers, the Juicy Lucy at Whitmans in the East Village. Other burgers on the menu include: Mushroom & Swiss Burger, Bacon & Egg Burger, a traditional Cheeseburger and The Original Roadies which are three mini steakhouse burgers topped with American cheese and pickles and served on their homemade yeast rolls.

BBC/ABC Reunion Bar Crawl!
Two thirds of the BBC (Baltimore Bar Crawlers) have been reunited with the ABC (Australian Bar Crawlers) and it feels so good! There's Clacky, Shannon and Smoopy at a bar in Clacky and Shannon's hometown of Newcastle. Gene is also there and took the photo. This brings back a 365 Bars flashback!
