This weekend I didn’t get any posts from the MBIP Contributors, which is fine. It gives me a chance to thank them here on this Sunday and let them know how much I appreciate them being a part of this blog.

When I first decided to do a blog I was just going to do it all by myself, to quote Eric Carmen, but a lunch date changed all that. I had lunch with some people a couple days after I blew back into town last year and three of the people at this luncheon included Bob Gordon, Mike Foster and Jeff Putnam. All three of them contributed to POP magazine, the publication I edited three years prior to moving to New York City.

After lunch that day I decided it might be fun to “put the band back together again,” and see if they and others would like to contribute to this blog on Saturday and Sunday. Well, I’ve been able to assemble a talented and fun gang of writers and photographers and their posts have been fantastic.

Since today is contributor free, I thought I’d put up links to a few of their posts and give them all a shout-out and a thank you. So, thank you to the wonderful MBIP Contributors...now get back to work! I'll be seeing some of you this Wednesday.

Now I'm ready to grow young again.
