An Interview with Marky Ramone for the Winter, 1996 issue of fishwrap. Marky and I discussed rock ‘n roll magazines and he told me of his hatred for Rolling Stone magazine and how he preferred Spin magazine to Rolling Stone, and we trade stories about Legs McNeil, Phil Spector, Dee Dee Ramone, The Beach Boys and how The Ramones were breaking up in March of 1996, which I believe was the first exclusive announcement of their breaking up.

Also at the beginning of the interview you can hear messages from Jann Wenner’s secretary telling me that Jann Wenner is unavailable for an interview and Bob Guccione, Jr. asking me not to make him look like a dork, pretty funny!
