Here we are at The Opera House in Expo Gardens, for this exciting musical concert tonight! I haven’t been in here in years, let’s go inside and take a look at the place.
Wow, it looks fantastic in here. I came a little early to get some shots before the crowd shows up!
There’s some activity happening on the stage already, let’s get closer and check it out.
Here’s some of the musicians that will be playing later tonight, they’re doing some sound checks on the stage and sounding fantastic already!
There were some really cool photos of bands from Peoria’s past that Janie Grier Kelly put together for the show and this is just a small sampling of them.
People are starting to show up and here’s some of the smiling faces attending tonight’s show! Great to see everyone!
Tony’s On Wheel’s, the Haddad’s food truck was on the premises, so I thought I’d grab our Saturday night dinner before the show starts. This friendly gentleman took my order and posed for the MBIP Camera. I love it when this happens!
I got a grilled butterfly pork chop sandwich and it was juicy, tasty and a real Saturday night treat!
Okay, back inside and it’s all filled up and it’s just about showtime!
Bret Johnson of was the emcee for the evening and here he is greeting the crowd. Bret’s a member of the fantastic band, Capt. Quirk and you can catch them live September 26 at Oz’z Bar & Grill. Check out their entire schedule here.
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, it’s showtime!
The first band performing is Actual Proof.
The members for Actual Proof include: Cathy Rohlf, John Rohlf, Dan Sutton, Mike Nellas and Ryan Canier.
They sounds fantastic and started the show off with a fabulous set of tunes!

Winter’s Harvest with band members, Art Karaganis, Jeff Brockamp, Terry Jermac, Danny Light and Jim Mathis.
Another fantastic set, so far this is a wonderful show at The Opera House!
There was a break, so I went out and got some more photos of the smiling faces in the crowd. Everyone was having a blast!
And now time for band number three…
The 3M Corporation with Craig Moore, Don Mabus and Mark Moretto.
They played a blistering set and the Opera House is indeed rocking tonight!

Another fantastic set of tunes and the crowd is loving it!
The finale was a percussive jam set with musicians from the various bands and look who they let loose on stage with a tambourine, Yours Fooly! This was so fun and thanks for Art Karaganis for inviting me onstage!
