We’re up to our third week of our summer hot dog tour and this week we not only have a special guest star, this special guest star has an exciting announcement that he’s going to reveal right here on the MBIP Blog!

As you can see, they have a big luncheon crowd in here, but I found a table over here. All we need now is our special guest star of the day…

Our special hot dog guest star for the week is my friend, Terry Towery.

Terry has some really fabulous news, he’s just signed a publishing deal with Galatea Books and his upcoming psychological thriller book will be published internationally late this summer or in the early fall.

Terry’s been working on this novel for years and it’s so exciting that he is in the final revision stages and he’ll soon be one of the only internationally published authors from Peoria, Illinois!

This is all he can reveal about this upcoming novel for now, but stay tuned to this blog and follow his author’s page on facecrack for upcoming details.

This is very exciting news and I thank Terry for letting me announce this exciting news on the MBIP blog!

Okay, back we now return you to our hot diggity dog post!

We checked out the menu and they have chili dogs, but I’m just eating hot dogs with the basic condiments of mustard and onion on this tour and our friendly and pretty server, Alex said she could make that happen!

Now, I’ll abandon Terry and take some photos while our lunches are being prepared.

They have a nice full service bar in here with a whole row of TV’s that are tuned in to various sporting events happening from all over the world.

There’s a colorful list of some of the draft beers and there’s a photos of all of the drafts behind the bar.

Meanwhile, back at our table lunch is starting to arrive!

We started off with an order of the Chorizo Queso Dip and this was a tasty and rich cheese dip with just the right amount of spice.

It’s served with house-made nacho chips and it was a wonderful and tasty start to our lunch!

And now the main courses have arrived. Hooray!

Terry got their signature Chicken Fingers which comes with French fries and garlic toast.

Of course I got the previously mentioned hot dog with a side of fries. We’ll uncover the hot dog in a moment, but first…

Terry wanted to show off his index finger that he used while typing up his soon to be published novel!

It looks delicious, but first we’ll sample the French fries. These are fresh hand-cut fries and they are crispy and delicious! Now on to the star of this show…

The third hot dog of this summer tour!

It was a tasty and basic hot dog. The bun was soft and fresh, the hot dog had a nice beefy flavor and was complimented nicely by the zingy mustard and chopped onions.
