Last Tuesday was the 47th anniversary of when The Blues Brothers made their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live. After that they made an album that was a best seller and then they starred in The Blues Brothers movie. Then John Belushi died and that was the end of that!

MBIP Coming Attractions
Monday: Last night was the Third Anniversary of one of my favorite Peoria downtown destinations, Jack’s On Adams. They had a fun party with pizza, beer and live music and you can see photos from this festive evening on tomorrow’s post!
Tuesday: We’re starting a short three week food tour on Tuesday and it’s going to be a trifecta of local Peoria sauces. The first one is a bbq sauce and you can tune in to see the sauce on Tuesday.
Wednesday: I went last week to see the latest Steve Spain Disney collection at the Peoria Riverfront Museum and on Wednesday I’ll have photos from that visit.
Thursday: We’ll be taking a look at yet another magazine for this week’s MBIP Magazine of the Week episode.
Friday: We’ll be picking up snacks from somewhere on Friday for the weekly Friday Bites! series,
Saturday: We’ll take another look back at Peoria’s past with another Meanwhile, Back In Peoria’s Past posts.
