The MBIP Questionable Corn Dog Tour - Week Number Fourteen @: MBIP World Headquarters

by MBIP

Okay, time to conjure up another corn dog at the MBIP World Headquarters! Hey I paid almost fifty bucks for that corn dog cooker, I’m going to get my money’s worth!

This week I thought it would be fun to add some Mexican flavor to a corn dog something I’ve decided to call, “The MBIP Mexican Cajun Corn Dog.

¡Cocinemos!

Here’s all the ingredients we’ll be using for this week’s corn dog.

The first thing that we’re going to pay attention to is the sausage for this week’s corn dog. We’re using a sausage that’s endorsed by Chef Bruce Aidells.

In case you’ve never heard of Chef Bruce Aidells, here’s everything you need to know about him. You’re welcome, it’s what I do!

First thing we’re going to do is make a cheese sauce for two different things which I’ll highlight later.

I got a jar of Pace Salsa Con Queso cheese and we’ll spice that up with a dash of hot sauce and some black pepper and other spices and mix it all together.

Now we’ll let that simmer on a low heat while we continue with this Mexican styled corn dog lunch.

I got a box of Green Giant Broccoli Cheese Rice for a side dish and we’ll put that in the microwave oven right now.

It’s going to cook for about seven minutes and while that’s cooking…

We’ll make the batter for the sausage corn dog.

I’m spicing up the batter by adding two different taco seasonings, a large dash of Mexican seasoning and a splash of hot sauce along with some hot water.

Okay, the sausage is about as baked as Jeff Spicolli, so we’ll take it out of the oven and cut it into two pieces and skewer it.

The Cuuna Pro is all warmed up and we’ve dunked the sausage pieces in the Mexican spicy batter and placed them in the cooker.

It was a little messy, but what are you going to do?

While those are cooking, we’ll make a mustard based dipping sauce for the Mexican Cajun Corn Dog and add the spicy cheese to that.

We’ll then take the remaining cheese mixture and add it to our broccoli rice side dish.

And here’s everything for this week’s tasty corn dog meal! Plus we’ve got a cold and delicious can of Bud Light to wash it all down with.

Kid Rock says it’s okay to drink Bud Light again…but I never stopped drinking it because…fuck Kid Rock!

I tried the cheesy broccoli rice dish first and it was so rich and tasty that cheese sauce was so creamy, spicy and delicious!

Now on to the star of this week’s lunch…

The Mexican Cajun Corn Dog!

I took it and dipped it into the warm cheese and mustard dipping sauce and…

Oh my god! What a flavor explosion this corn dog is!

The batter is crispy and loaded with spicy flavor and the sausage is savory and has a rich and bold taste to it.

The mustard cheese sauce takes it to a tasty level hardly seen in corn dog land!

What a taste sensation!

CORN DOG RATING

{Based On A Four Corn Dog Rating System)

Once again, I hate to brag…okay, I love to brag about my corn dog creations and this one is getting yet another heavily personally biased four corn dogs rating!

Hooray for this week’s Mexican Cajun Corn Dog, it was a real tasty and satisfying treat!
