It’s week number six of the MBIP Corn Dog Tour and we don’t have to travel too far to get this week’s corn dog. We just have to walk over to the kitchen area of the MBIP World Headquarters and we’re good to go.
Well, actually, there’s a little work involved, let’s travel to the MBIP World Headquarters Kitchen and I’ll show you what’s going on here!
When I decided to do this corn dog tour, I thought it might be fun to make corn dogs right here at the MBIP World Headquarters, so I ordered this Cucina Pro Corn Dog Maker.
This allows you to make corn dogs without having to deep fry them in oil, which would be kind of a messy thing to undertake.
I also ordered this bag of corn dog batter flour.
To make the batter, you start out by mixing a cup of milk with an egg. Then I added some extra seasonings to give it a little kick and then added the corn dog flour.
There’s the batter, ready for us to dip a dog into!
I got a pack of Jonsonville Beef and Cheddar Smoked Sausages for the hot dog portion of this week’s corn dog.
It really bothers me how they spell “Better” as “Beddar,” so let’s just move on from that and not dwell on it!
The Cucina Pro is a mini corn dog maker, so we have to cut the hot dog in half. Then we added the wooden spears and they’re ready to be dunked in the seasoned corn dog batter.
We dunked them and then positioned them into the pre-heated Cucina Pro corn dog cooker.
We’ll let them cook for three minutes and then…
We’ll turn them over.
I was pleasantly surprised at how they’re cooking up. I haven’t tried this cooker yet and was a little worried that maybe it wouldn’t work that well, but the corn dogs are looking fabulous!
Okay, after you turn them, it says to let them cook for another two minutes.
Enjoy this Dog Heaven video while the corn dogs finish cooking. Bow Wow Wow!
And here they are all cooked up and they look marvelous!
These look perfect and we just need to add one more ingredient to them…
I added a nice dollop of Jalapeno Sandwich Pal mustard to the mini corn dogs and they were such a tasty treat!
The batter was really crispy on the outside and the extra seasonings i added gave it a nice kick. The Johnonville cheese summer sausage was really tasty and the Cucina Pro did a fabulous job of cooking up these mini corn dogs.
I’m really proud of how they turned out and we’ll do this a couple more times before we end this corn dog tour!

CORN DOG RATING
{Based On A Four Corn Dog Rating System)
I have to give this week’s homemade corn dogs a four corn dog rating! Yes, I’m a little biased, but these were a real taste treat and we’ll try another home-cooked variation of a corn dog in a couple of weeks! Stay tuned and have a wonderful, corn diggity dogged Tuesday, everyoene!
